TIKIPUNGA HIGH SCHOOL Corks Road, Whangarei, New Zealand |

|
This is our class. Our teacher's name is Ashley Hart. Check out our website. Our school crest, which you can see at the top of the page, shows three traditional Maori fishing nets. They represent: a sense of self worth/self-respect; a concern for others; a desire to learn/urge to enquire. TUKUA O PUNGA translates as LAY YOUR FOUNDATIONS. |
||
| We are twinned with Deanery High School in Wigan, England. Check out their website too. | ||

Here is our message to Deanery High School:
Kia Ora to all! Tena koutou, tena koutou, tena koutou katoa! Hi all!
This is a really exciting event and we hope that all of the InterLinkers
get lots out of this time!!
For our part we are hoping to gain an insight into everyday life of
British teenagers and to understand the similarities and differences
between us. We are hoping to gain an insight into the origins of many
New Zealanders and to impart some understanding of the way we live and
view the world.
Our school is well renowned for its care and growth of the individual
and we hope that we can include you in this as well!!
Kia Ora! Hi! My name is Rawinia Rihia. I'm 14 and I am looking
forward to making contact with you all!!
Hi! I think it's going to be cool to find out about you all in Wigan.
Kia Ora! Don't know what to write but I'm really looking forward to
doing this with you all at Deanery.
Hi! It's scorching hot here at the moment although we have been flooded
out this weekend. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hi! I like your photo!!
