PAKURANGA COLLEGE
Pigeon Mountain Road, Bucklands Beach, Auckland
our class
This is our class. Our teacher's name is Beverly Kepple. Check out our website.
We are twinned with Shaw House School in Newbury, England. Check out their website too.
Here is our message to Shaw House:

Kia Ora! Ni hao ma! Apa Khabar! Greetings from Pakuranga. We are the 3rd form (year 9) Extension Studies class participating in the Interlink project. Our greeting reflects the multi-cultural nature of our school and we are looking forward to getting to know you very well over the next few months.

Throughout the project we hope to learn more about Britain and its schools, to enhance our own personal learning and through the exchange of email to develop new friendships.

Pakuranga College is a multi-cultural school with nearly 1800 pupils, 800 of which were born in other lands. There is a large group from the Asian countries, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China as well as Korea and Malaysia. Other big groups are from Iraq and South Africa. One of the special aspects of our school is the wearing of uniform for years 9,10 and 11, while year 12 and 13 do not.
