Copeland Wilson & Associates (CWA) produces resources in a range of media for the education sector. These include:
- CWA Education Web - a World Wide Web site offers a range of information useful to New Zealand teachers. It includes the most up-to-date list of schools with web addresses and email, and also incorporates "The Resource Guide" - a database containing information on over 1000 science and technology resources of interest to teachers in these fields.
- "Know How" - a 10-part television series which was produced to support the introduction of the new Technology Curriculum. It examines the various strands of the Curriculum, and includes a range of examples of classroom practice demonstrating the Curriculum in action. It was broadcast on TVNZ's eTV (education television) and is also available for purchase by schools.
- "Getting the Message" - a 7-part television series which examined the new English Curriculum and offered examples of classroom programmes linked to the three strands - Visual, Oral and Written. It also featured a studio discussion with members of the education sector, including teachers and a member of a Board of Trustees, in which key issues to do with the delivery of the Curriculum were discussed.
- "In Our Own Words" - a 4-part television series in which secondary schools students spoke "in their own words" about their education. This series included issues such as children at risk/truancy, learning styles, and the classroom of the future.
- "Outsmarting the Sun" - a 6 minute video produced for the Cancer Society of New Zealand to promote "sunsmart" behaviour in children of 8-11 years old. This video, produced in collaboration with students of Tawa Primary School, combines live action with computer animated graphics to provide information to children on how exposure to the sun can cause cancer, and ways in which they can protect themselves from harmful rays.
