Kia Ora, I'm Alli McNeill. I am one of the curriculum consultants on the InterLink programme. Our team has been working on the activities you will be using and how they might be linked into your teaching programmes.

Our approach, in designing these activities and the curriculum links, has been to develop broad areas of study that individual teachers and schools can refine down into specific lessons that will be of interest and relevance to your students.

We have selected a range of curriculum links that can be tied into the topics. Some of these will be more relevant for your approach to the topic than others.

In accordance with the New Zealand National Curriculum framework and the 10 Point Plan for Maori Education, and in the spirit of the Treaty of Waitangi all activities and objectives may be presented and performed in Te Reo or English.
