THERE'LL BE BLUE BIRDS.......
The war was a time when strong links were forged between the nations, and when many British and Kiwi people met and developed friendships under fire.
Survey your friends and family, and tell us some of the memories they have of British/Kiwis during the war. They may have come across each other in the war zone or back home in your own country.
What other information can you find out about the war from your community?
Survey your community, RSA, museums, memorials and local records. What information can you come up with from these sources?
Remember, the war touched many people in different ways. Many people will have very sad memories of friends and loved ones lost, so make sure the people you ask for help are happy to talk with you about their memories.
