Select an item which is particularly important to your family, community or country that has a British/NZ link.

You might find something at a local gallery or museum or someone you know may have a souvenir.

Research the history of the object. How did it arrive in the country? Why is it important to the person or organisation that has it?

Write up this information and include a graphic of the item, put it on-line or email it to us.

What other things do people in your part of the world treasure? Do you have any people who have weird or quirky collections? Maybe there are people in Britain who collect stuffed kiwis or someone in New Zealand that collects Staffordshire pottery - see what you can find out.
