TIME CAPSULE
A time capsule is a container (in this case a page on your computer) that holds articles or documents that are representative of the current time. Time capsules are usually buried and left for future generations to find, but the time capsule you will make will be stored on the computer.
Create your own time capsule that represents everyday life in your community today.
As a group decide on objects that you consider to be significant or representative of you and your community today. Choose one object for each of the following categories:-
- Home
- School
- Recreational activities
- Sport
- Clothing
- Music
- Technology
- Transport
- Youth
- plus one other object of your choice.
Scan a picture or write a description of the objects you have chosen and put them in your time capsule. Write an explanation of what the objects are and why they have been chosen.
Check out what objects your pair school considers to be important and why.
