- INTERESTING LINKS -
TIES THAT BIND
There are many interesting links between Britain and NZ. We have things in common, or things that we have shared, swapped or given to each other.
Research what links our countries have, eg. Ray Woolf, a well known Kiwi actor of the 70s was born in England. Philip Schofield, famous as a kids' TV presenter, worked in both NZ and Britain.
See what links you can come up with. You might like to see if you can find the connection New Zealanders have with the Globe Theatre and what paving slabs at schools have to do with NZ/British links.
What are some of the reasons or stories behind these exchanges? What historical and present connections and links do NZ and Britain have?
