Sibylle and group 3. Here is our project 26 - we hope you find it interesting and can tell us about transport in New Zealand.

People in our country travel in many different ways. People bike, walk, go by car, horse, motor-bikes, take the bus/coach, cath the train/underground, drive lorrys etc, taxis.

Depending on how near or far you are from the place you would like to visit, there are different transports.

I go to school by car. The cost for petrol to run the car is around 50 pence to 70 pence. The price really depends on where you are. My family and friends usually walk or bike to close places. For further places or different towns, they by car, trains and if it is travelling around a town, then they travel by buses or coaches. The most common form of transport is car.

The cost of traveling again really depends on where you are.

Here are some costs of transport, at rates of around average.

  • Car 50-80p per litre for petrol
  • Bus It costs around 60p to travel around the town.
  • Taxi It costs around 60p per minute
  • Train (only between towns) £7-50 for a whole day rover around London and the 15 miles from Harlow and back.
