"WHAT WE'RE REALLY LIKE"
Harlow, England
|
Highlights from Passmores School Harlow, Essex
- Great Britain is divided into 3 parts, England (where we are writing from),
Scotland, and Wales. England is the largest part though. Our capital city is London and our queen (Queen Elizabeth) is often there, and when she is lots of people stand outside the gates of Buckingham Palace in hope to see her. The County our school is in is called Essex and is in the South Eastern part of England.
Group 3
- The rich people in England are well spoken and look posh. The clothes they
wear may look old fashioned, but we are really up to date. Adidas jogging
bottoms and tops are fashionable at the moment. In Harlow we are mostly smart but not posh. The Monarchy is part of our culture. There are many ceremonies connected with it.
Group 4
- Rough estimates place the population of 58 million not 25. The
people born naturaly in England don't all speak English because they all have
different accents. Not all English people have skin as white as snow we have
different colour skins. We are not related to polynesie at all.
