- SCIENCE -

POLES APART

autumn What things does nature do differently in the northern hemisphere compared with the southern hemisphere?

Here are a list of some things you could investigate:-

  • The path of the sun
  • When it is day and night
  • Water going down the plug hole
  • Stars and constellations
  • Seasons
  • Sea life
  • Garden animals or dangerous creatures
  • Flowering/growth of plants
There are heaps more you will be able to add to that list once you start sharing ideas with your pair school.

Working with your pair school set up an experiment to investigate the above topics, or you may like to share a science topic you are already working on to see if the results you got will match results from the other side of the world.

Be sure to summarise your results and send them to us so that we can find out the answers to all these things as well!!
