Hi Guys
SATURDAY
Yes you are right. We do get to sleep in a little longer but some of us
also have to work, so for some of us that is a dream. In the summer,
like now, some of us get to go the beach where we like to watch the
babes. As for discos at night - well most discos are run by the school
and are held during the last week of term and not on Saturday nights!
We have one coming up soon (Wednesday) and the theme is "Op Shops" [second-hand shops]. You get in cheaper if you dress in theme.
Yes, some of us do listen to music and watch T.V. as well as play sport.
Soon many of us will be involved in winter sports on Saturdays like
rugby, netball, soccer and hockey. We have quite a few school teams
too. A lot of us like to watch videos and sports on sky too - all
sorts.
As for the ballydancing (or is it bellydancing), well... we have yet to
try that! We thought that was so funny.
Our school starts about 8.50 with tutors and then we go to classes. We
have all the subjects you mentioned except some of the language ones
like spanish and japanese.
Lunch is at 12.20 and we are outside except if it is wet. Then we have
to stay in the hall, library or go to the gym. Some days we have tutor
sports competitions like softball, touch rugby, or volleyball. In the
summer we can swim in the pool. Heaps of kids go home for lunch and you
need a pass to get out of the school and you are not allowed to go up
town unless it is to go to the dentist.
Home time is at 3.30 and lots of us catch a bus home. Many of us live
out of town and we have about 6 buses going to different places. Lots
of us walk to school but some of the big kids have their own cars.
We think your school would be pretty much the same except for the
swimming.
See yuh, 3G1
