HEADING IN YOUR DIRECTION
Every day people head off and travel in your direction. What methods do we use to get there and what routes do we take? What does it cost?
Working with your paired school, research and report on 6 different ways someone could use to travel to your country. Supply information on the route, the time it would take, the cost, and some of the sights they might see on the way.
For example:
- Cruise liners, QEII
- Trans-Siberian train and links
- Aircraft
- Coaches
- Fishing boats
Research some of the oddest, unusual or complicated ways some people have actually made the trip
For example:
- someone in your community
- someone in the news (ballooning / solo sailing).
You might like to produce a map and show using graphics how people get to where you are. Or think of a different way to present this information in an interesting way.
