- EATING A TYPICAL MEAL -
CHOW DOWN
Design a menu that reflects your culture and cuisine. You may want to design a menu based around the food of the country you are living in, what you eat at home or the culture you identify with. But it should be the type of menu you might serve to special friends visiting from overseas.
As you design your menu, think about the following things:-
- Where are the ingredients produced?
- Do you have to go to any special shops to get the food you want?
- Is there a special significance to the food you have chosen to put on the menu and if so what is it?
Present your menu in an interesting way and swap it with your pair school.
What differences are there between some of the menus?
What similarities are there?
