Can you find a list of companies that operate in both countries?

What about the big multi-national companies such as MacDonalds and Coca Cola, and banking, broadcasting, insurance and telecommunications companies that operate in both countries - what is it about them that means they can be successful in both Britain and New Zealand? Are the products exactly the same in the two countries or do they use local resources? How were these companies able to grow and expand into other countries? What government policies make it easy or hard for overseas companies to set up in your country?
