Summary

To do IRC you need to:

Have the appropriate software on your computer
Set up your startup preferences
Connect to a server which is part of a network
Make sure that you and your partner school are joined to the same network at the same time

Once you are connected to the network you need to:

Create an interlink channel if you're the first ones to link up OR
Join the existing interlink channel if your pair school has got there first!
